Abstract

A machine for folding over and pressing edge margins of fabric workpieces, e.g. pockets, comprises a pressing table 2 with a liftable and lowerable plate 4 located in a recess 3 therein, a top pressure plate 15 on a pivoted arm 14 and adapted to hold a workpiece against the plate 4 with the edge margins to be folded projecting therefrom, and electrically heatable pressing elements 7 slidable to fold over and press down the projecting edge margins. The elements 7 are guided by lower guides 6 and lateral guides (9). <IMAGE>
