Abstract

A device for the wet classification of solids with respect to size, comprises two circular chutes (2, 2a) situated adjacent each other at the same level so that their outer walls contact or intersect each other. In the outer walls of the chutes in the region of their contact or intersection, there is provided a distribution opening common to both chutes and in which, opposite the outlet of a common feeding nozzle (3), there is a dividing wedge (6). Separate sieves (1, 1a) are fastened to the inner edges of the bottoms of the circular chutes. <IMAGE>
