Abstract

A golf chipping aid comprising a lightweight plastic shaft 1 and fitted to a plastic clip 3 which is able to clip onto a golf club shaft 2. When connected the plastic shaft 1 extends away from the club shaft 2 to create an angle between the device and the club. The plastic shaft 1 and clip 3 may be made of a single piece or have cooperating connection elements. The device is used to train a golfer to keep their wrists still when performing a chip and the device is designed so that excess movement of the wrists will result in the chipping aid contacting the userâ s arm and being forced to disconnect from the club shaft 2.
