Abstract

A fabric plant container 1 is made from an air-porous material which allows roots of a plant grown therein to contact the air and a fitted stand to raise the container off the ground, allowing air circulation on all sides of the container, thereby air-pruning the roots of the plant. The stand may be made from wire and maybe fitted to the base of the container. The stand may comprise of two supports 3 which are locked into position by a ring 2, and are rotatable to lie flat against the base of the container for packaging and then rotated and locked into position upon assembly. The supports may be held in place by tabs 4 and the container may have two handles 5.
