Abstract

Webs are provided with a coloured pattern by feeding dye liquid to sloping guide channels (10, 11 or 12) arranged above the moving web (9) from individually associated feed lines (1), (2), (3), the guide channels being movably guided to permit variation in the path on the web along which the liquid is deposited. <IMAGE>
