Abstract

The invention relates to a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a Signal Transducer Activator of Transcription 1 (STAT1) protein wherein the sequence comprises a polymorphism within a polymorphic region represented by nucleotides 2104 to 2115.
