Abstract
An aqueous gum composition for lithographic printing plates contains (a) water, (b) dextrine, sterabic, stractan, alginate, polyacrylic acid, hydroxyethyl cellulose, polyvinylpyrollidene, polyacrylamide, methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxymethyl cellulose or carboxyalkyl cellulose salt, (c) citric, oxalic or phosphoric acid or sodium monobasic phosphate, (d) sodium lauryl sulphate and (e) as solvent ethylene glycol, n-butyl acetate, glycerine or polyethylene oxide.
