Abstract

An air vent for a vehicle comprises a substantially spherical body traversed by an air passage 4 encased by a cylindrical wall and including an airflow control element 5 axially and movably guided in the passage which is adjustable by an actuating member 6 revolvably mounted on the body. The body is a two-piece structure of two semi-spherical portions 2, 3 of double walled construction. Each portion comprises a hemispherical external wall 7 and cylindrical internal wall 8 converging at one end in a common root 9, the two halves being assembled together at the other end by integrally-formed snap-in elements formed by webs having barbed retaining means. <IMAGE>
