Abstract

Transportation apparatus for articles such as bottles and pots comprises a plurality of platforms 5,6,7,8 pivotally mounted at their rear ends on a frame structure 4, each platform being bounded at the sides and rear by upright article retaining edge portions. The front of each platform is bounded by an upright edge member 12 pivotally mounted by arm members to the side upright edge portions whereby the upright edge member 12 can be moved from a first operative position across the front of the platform obstructing free access thereto to a second inoperative position providing unobstructed access to the front of the platform. <IMAGE>
