Abstract

A dosing device for fluids for use in dish-washing machines, comprises a socket which is composed of two concentric pipe sections 4, 5 and a cover 11, the pipe sections being connected together by a transverse wall 8, and the cover being fastened to pipe section 4 and plugging pipe section 5, the arrangement being such, that an annular space 17 is formed between the cover and the transverse wall. An outflow duct 2 extends between the pipe sections for discharge of fluid through an aperture in the transverse wall into the annular space, and apertures 18 are provided in the cover for discharge of fluid from the annular space. In modifications, a sealing ring is provided on an inner annular wall part of the cover seating on the transverse wall portion of the socket, (Figs. 3, 4, not shown). Alternatively, the cover has no seal ring, plug part 14 being tapered to fit into pipe section 5, and is connected to pipe section 4 by a bayonet fixing instead of by a threaded connection (Fig. 5 not shown). <IMAGE>
