Abstract

In a stapling machine the magazine arm and steady 7 are interconnected by hook shaped lugs 12 on the magazine arm which engage a rod 14 carried by the steady. The steady is mounted by a pivot pin 4 which passes through an elongate aperture 15, fig. 2, not shown, and the steady moves against the bias of a spring 11 when the rod and hook engage and disengage. <IMAGE>
