Abstract

A device for the adjustment of the height and inclination of a vehicle seat. The device comprises two main parts, namely a seat carrier 2 carrying the vehicle seat, and a supporting frame 1 connected to the vehicle floor. The supporting frame is connected to the seat carrier by means of four supports 3', 3'', which are situated below the corner areas of the seat and are firmly connected to one of the main parts of the adjustment device. The supports are vertically displaceably guided in four associated openings 4 in the other main part of the adjustment device and are provided with transverse slots 5 arranged one above the other. Horizontally displaceable slides 6', 6'' co-operate with the openings and engage into the transverse slots. The supports are either in the form of pins, or are flat. <IMAGE>
