Abstract

A collapsible cloche is provided by forming the cloche basically from a pair of longitudinal side frame members (22) provided with means for receiving the respective free end portions of support rods bent (3) to form a domed top to the cloche. A top frame member, which preferably comprises two laterally spaced longitudinal sections (20), is movably mounted on the bent rods (3) for movement between a bottom position adjacent one of the side frame members (22) enabling the cloche to be collapsed onto itself, and a top position on the rods (3) central of the two side frame members (22). A flexible translucent sheeting (21) secured to the top frame member (20) extends to both sides thereof (when the top frame member is in the top position) down to the side frame members (22) so as to form a complete enclosure, the free ends (24) being tied together. Where the top frame member (20) is formed by two laterally spaced sections the cloche may be set with a top gap, if required, to provide ventilation. <IMAGE>
