Abstract

A cord grip for electrical accessories, particularly lampholders, comprises a fixed jaw 18 and movable jaw 16 with means 36 for moving the jaws 16, 18 towards and away from each other. The jaws are shaped so as to provide two spaced-apart clamping zones 28, 30 whereby two conductors 32, 34 may be held apart in the cord grip. The movable jaw 16 is pivotally mounted on a support 10 which forms a barrier between terminals 12, 14 to which the conductors 32, 34 are connected. <IMAGE>
