Abstract

Cartons are formed from blanks obtained in pairs by defining in the blank material a side panel portion (2), a bottom panel portion (3) and a second side panel portion (20) by lines of folding (a1) - (a4) defining side panels (21), (22) in the portions (2), (20), dividing the bottom panel portion (3) into two halves by a cut (B), and dividing each half of the bottom panel portion into bottom flaps (31), (32) by at least one oblique (C) and at least one vertical cut (D2), (D3). The bottom panel halves may alternatively be divided by pairs of oppositely inclined oblique cuts. <IMAGE>
