Abstract

A dust filter has two filtering columns 1' and 1'' which are flexibly connected to upper and lower casings 3 and 4, valves 7', 7'' and 11 which allow the flow of dirty air to be switched from one column to the other, the column not in use being cleaned by reciprocating it along its longitudinal axis by means of a rotating eccentric disc 10', 10''. Rotational gates 8', 8'' allow dust which has been shaken off the columns to be removed from channels 6' and 6''. Each column encloses a bed of filter rings, the central hollow bore being filled. The filter may aspirate machines in mixing or fodder plants. <IMAGE>
