Abstract

An index tab rail (3) of transparent plastics material deformed into a channel which defines oppositely disposed grooves (4, 5) is provided with index tab holder (8) including a base plate (9) whose opposite edges engage the grooves (4, 5) for sliding therealong. The base plate is provided with grooves 10 for holding an index tab 11. The holder edges perpendicular to the grooves (4, 5) are longer than the distance between the facing edges of the grooves (4, 5) but shorter than the width of the rail 3. <IMAGE>
