Abstract
The present invention provides compounds of the general formula I <IMAGE> where X is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, C1- to C4-alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, C1- to C4- alkoxycarbonyl, methyl, methoxy or cyano, Y is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, cyano or the radical of a heterocyclic 5-membered ring which may or may not be substituted or be fused to a benzo ring, Z is nitro, cyano or unsubstituted or substituted phenylazo, R is unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, thienyl, alkyl or aralkyl, R<1> and R<2> independently of one another are substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, or R<1> and R<2> together with the nitrogen are a substituted or unsubstituted saturated heterocyclic 5-membered to 7-membered ring, and one of R<1> and R<2> can also be hydrogen. The compounds are useful as disperse dyes, particularly for dyeing polyester and other synthetic fibers.
