Abstract

A plastics pull-type blind fastener has a pull-part 10 with a pulling stem 18 and legs 16 which pass through a hole in a workpiece, shoulders 26 of the legs engaging the workpiece at the blind side, and a push-part 12 with a head 32 to engage the workpiece at the accessible side and a plug 36 extending between the legs 16 to keep them apart after setting. The legs 16 are accommodated in complementarily shaped apertures 30 in the head 32 of the push-part, and at least one part has teeth 40 to lock the parts together after setting and allow removal of the pulling stem 18. <IMAGE>
