Abstract

A table is disclosed, having a lamp housing (11) from which light is radiated asymmetrically onto the table (3). The housing (11) is carried by a rigid, vertical support (12) one end of which is fixed to an end of the housing (11) and the other end of which is connected at or near one corner of the table (3). The housing (11) extends parallel to a side of the table and parallel to the working surface (31) of the table. <IMAGE>
