Abstract

A loading ramp 2 for a vehicle such as a heavy duty trailer and which is hydraulically operable between a stowed position and a loading and unloading position by means of a fluid-operated piston and cylinder unit 4 connected between a ramp member 2 and an intermediate portion of a lever 11 which is connected at one end to the vehicle and that the other end engages a cam surface 15 on the ramp. <IMAGE>
