Abstract

A machine for cleaning bottles comprising an endless conveyor 8 with containers for the bottles to be cleaned, said conveyor travelling through a path consisting of a number of mainly helicoidal windings about a horizontal axis, each winding forming a polygonal box-shaped unit or module 2, 3, 4, 5 partly filled with liquid; during their travel through this helicoidal path, the containers with the bottles will be turned upside down once in each winding, thereby stimulating the rinsing action of the machine. <IMAGE>
