Abstract

In a waterproof coaxial line comprising an inner conductor 1 having spacer discs 2 of dielectric material mounted thereon at spaced intervals, and an outer conductor 3 in the form of a copper tube resting on the spacing discs and made by bending a strip so that its longitudinal edges are brought together, a permanently plastic adhesive material 5, preferably having a polybutene or polyisobutylene base or butyl rubber, is inserted between the outer conductor and the peripheries of the spacing discs, and in the gap 6 between the abutting edges of the strip forming the outer conductor. This seals the line against the penetration of water in both the axial and radial directions. An insulating film 4 and an adhesive tape 7 may be provided. <IMAGE>
