Abstract
In a multi-pole moulded-case electric circuit breaker wherein each pole has an excess-current trip actuator e.g. bimetal strip 16, which carries an adjusting screw 17 to engage an inclined abutment surface 56 and so cause pivotal tripping movement, about a rod 52, of a trip bar common to all poles and formed of three levers such as 51 solidly linked side-by-side on the rod 52, the trip bar is adapted for adjusting displacement laterally along the rod 52 by means of a cranked pin and slot device 73-73 to simultaneously adjust the trip-rating of all poles by varying the effective spacing between the calibrating screws 7 and their respective inclined abutment surfaces 56 on the trip bar. <IMAGE>
