Abstract

In an actuator cap assembly for an aerosol container or for a container fitted with a pump, the actuating button 2 is inserted into the cap 1 from below (there may be a tamper-proof tab 16 over the top access opening) and a resilient tongue 4 on the button snaps past an abutment 7 in the cap then engages in a recess behind the abutment to hold the button in. At the other end of the button there is a projection (11) frictionally engaging in a notch 13 in the wall of the cap to hold the button in the correct alignment for fitting onto the container. <IMAGE>
