Abstract

A fuel injector has a chamber 13 into which fuel leaking from within the injector can flow. A collar 17 surrounds a body part 10 of the injector and defines with the body a cavity into which fuel from the chamber 13 can flow. The collar is secured to the body part by a circlip 20 and the collar has nipples 18 to lead fuel away from the cavity. Two O-ring seals are provided between the collar 17 and the body part 10. As described, the injector supplies fuel to an I.C. engine combustion space. <IMAGE>
