Abstract

A method and apparatus are provided for producing multiple gauge strip which may be used for electrical connectors. A shaving tool 12 has a cutting edge 13 which is spaced from an anvil means 16 to define a shaving gap, through which the strip 14 is drawn for shaving of its upper surface. The anvil means has an arcuate surface over which the strip passes. <IMAGE>
