Abstract

A computer system comprises at least three individual computers (1, 2, 3) connected via at least one control line (4) to a control computer (not shown), the individual computers being interconnected by data lines (51-59) via input (11-13, 21-23, 31-3) and output (14-16, 24-26, 34-36) stores for data transfer therebetween, and means for modifying the connections between the computers. The interconnections are such that more than one data transfer may be effected at the same time. The selection of computers to be connected may be by means of electrical switching means, eg a crossbar distributor, or by a manual plug board. <IMAGE>
