Abstract

A clamp for securing a towel rail or shelf above a radiator, comprising a tubular body part 27 containing a spring loaded plunger 31 carrying an arm 32 the body part being secured to a further arm 26 forming a reaction member, the body part being connected to a shelf 12, 13, 14, the arrangement being such that the arm 32 can be moved against the spring loading towards the arm 26 to allow both arms to enter a space between a radiator and a wall to which the radiator is fixed, release of the arm 32 causing this to engage the radiator, the reaction of the spring loading being taken by the other arm 26. In an alternative the tubular body part is formed as the end portion of a towel rail. <IMAGE>
