Sliding bolts. - Relates to sash fasteners of the type in which a spring-shot bolt 3 has a projection 11 sliding in a slot 5 in the casing 1 and adapted to be turned to engage in lateral slots 6, 7, to secure the bolt in the shot and withdrawn positions respectively, and consists in providing the casing 1 on its unlerside with a channel 2 open at one end so that the bolt with its projection may be assembled by passing it upwards through the channel 2, inserting its reduced end through a hole in the closed end 4 and screwing on the operating handle. 9.
