Blades, vanes, nozzles, and the like.-In turbines of the type having a number of diaphragms wherein guide blades are fixed, the blades A are formed with projections a, or in the case of blades B of uniform thickness the diaphragm is shaped at the junction with the blades B, so as to avoid sharp corners. The blades may be machined singly from bronze or cast.
