Abstract

A wheel, for toys or light vehicles for children, has a peripheral groove 8 forming the rim which provides a seating for a tyre 2, and to prevent the tyre becoming dislodged, the central portion of the groove has a radially projecting part 10 which engages in a complementary slot 11 aligned therewith in the tyre. The slot may extend through into a hollow interior 4 of the tyre. The projecting part may be in the form of a continuous or discontinuous ridge parallel with the plane of the wheel. <IMAGE>
