Abstract

In a coin operated machine comprising a coin receiving input section including coin deposit detecting means a product dispensing output section, a control circuit responsive to the detected deposited coins in the input section to provide dispensing function enabling signal to the output section, and manually operable means for implementing enabled dispensing functions, the control circuit is in the form of a signal stepping circuit 12 arranged to apply power from a common power terminal to each of a series of branch terminals 14-24. One or more branch terminal 14-17 is connected to receive an input signal indicative of a requirement for the deposit of a coin, and the other branch terminals 19-24 are connected to dispensing function control devices. The stepping circuit 12 is advanced automatically upon deposit of a required coin or upon implementation of an enabled dispensing function. <IMAGE>
