Abstract

A bladed rotor comprises a rotor disc 18 having a plurality of blade retaining slots 20 in its periphery and a rotor blade 19 mounted in each slot, and sealing means between the rotor and the adjacent static structure 27 comprising an annular projection 30 from adjacent the disc periphery adapted to coact with an annular feature 28, 29 on the static structure. The annular projection 30 is made up of a plurality of abutting segments, alternate ones of which project from the disc and one of the rotor blades respectively. <IMAGE>
