Abstract

The invention seeks to provide simple, cheap suspending means which can be attached to cladding elements quickly and easily, which can ensure a sturdy and permanent connection between the suspending means and the cladding element, but can be released subsequently if required. The suspending means of the invention comprises an angularly bent wire 1 of which a first portion 2 is designed as a fixing means and a second portion 3 can be pushed into a receiving bore 8 in the cladding element 9 and forms an angle 4 of less than 90 DEG with the first portion 2, the cross-section of the second portion 3 being smaller than or at most equal to that of the bore 8, and the second portion 3 being so long that some of its length can be inserted in the bore 8 before that end 10 of the first portion 2 remote from the angle 4 comes to bear on the cladding element 9, and when the end 10 of the first portion 2 is bearing on the cladding element 9 the second portion 3 can be driven further into the bore 8 so that, the angle 4 being bent open resiliently, the whole of the first portion 2 comes to bear on the cladding element 9. <IMAGE>
