Abstract

A transporting trolley for building boards etc, in sheet form, comprises an elongated frame 10 which is provided at its ends with pivotable casters 11-14 and an upright support 18 arrangement providing a mounting for a table 20 to pivot around an axis extending longitudinally of the trolley. The trolley is characterised in that two transportation wheels 15,16 are mounted approximately at the centre of the frame length and are arranged so that (i) they are raised in dependence upon pivoting movement of the table between a position inclined slightly away from a vertical plane and a substantially horizontal position, and, (ii) they are lowered in dependence upon pivoting movement back to said inclined position. This enables the transportation wheels to be used in the main when the trolley is moved around the work-site, and for these wheels to be lifted clear at the work location so that the trolley can rest stably on its casters. <IMAGE>
