Abstract

Harness making apparatus comprises a wire holding head 120 traversable between first 122 and second 123 wire terminating stations to convey one end of each wire 10 of a series of wires simultaneously from the first station to the second station, means to terminate the one end of each wire simultaneously at the second station, means to feed a predetermined length of each wire simultaneously past or through the head when at the first station after termination at the second station and means to sever and terminate the other end of each wire simultaneously at the first station. The feed means may comprise a nip 112 drawing wires from a first 103 and second 104 series of pulleys, movable apart and together to draw predetermined lengths of wires from supply reels. <IMAGE>
