Abstract

A blade carrier for carrying a multi-section curved blade (15A, 15B, 15C) in which each of the sections has four cutting edges. The carrier has a separate mounting (14A, 14B, 14C) for each section, and each mounting (15A, 15C), except the central one (15B) in the case of an odd number of blade mountings, is substantially the mirror image of another mounting (15C, 15A), whereby the blades can be employed in either of two mountings, so that all four cutting edges can be used. Preferably each mounting is adjustable relative to the other mountings by wedges (16A, 16B, 16C). <IMAGE>
