Abstract

A floor sweeping machine having a roller brush 12 driven by floor engaging wheels 13 through gearing, and a dirt collecting container 14 includes a cover 20 for the roller brush extending from a position adjacent the upper edge of an intake opening 21 of the container 14 to a position adjacent the level of the floor, the cover having side walls 30 on which the roller brush and the floor engaging wheels are mounted. <IMAGE>
