Abstract

The hull has a stern portion (1) a bow portion (3) and a mid-portion (2). In particular the hull has a total length of the mid and bow portions which is 3 to 8 times the length of the stern portion a largest beam of the mid-portion equal to 1 to 1;3 times the beam of the stern portions at its connection to the mid-portion 2. The contact lines between the stern portion and the mid-portion, and between the bow portion and the mid-portion lying on planes or on cylindrical surfaces normal to the ship's centre line, and inclined at angle of 30 DEG to 90 DEG to or parallel with, the ship's said longitudinal bottom line. <IMAGE>
