Abstract

Aqueous copolymer dispersions having good compatibility with resins and pigments used in ink formulations, which produce inks with improved transfer and good flow characteristics and higher pigment loading and which have improved freeze-thaw stability, contain 1-20% by weight of urea. Particularly preferred compositions contain 0.1-5% by weight of a polyacrylic acid thickener.
