Abstract

A tractor front ballast weight 1 having at its rear side a cut-out 4 for installation on a cross-bar 3 at the front end of a tractor with a downwardly hanging edge portion 5 at the upper side of the cut-out arranged behind the cross-bar, while the underside of the cut-out a segmental latch member 6 is pivotally connected with the ballast weight in a non-removable manner and is biased out of the cut-out into locking engagement with the underside of the cross-bar, said latch member being releasable from the locking engagement by turning against the bias force into a recess 13 formed at the underside of the cut-out. <IMAGE>
