Abstract

A photo-electric image converter for use in, e.g., an aerial camera has two lines of photo-electric elements (4, 6). The elements in the lines have non-photosensitive spaces (5) therebetween. Two objective lenses are provided to produce on the lines a respective image of the same object. Points of the image that fall on the elements in one line correspond to points of the image that fall on the spaces in the other line, whereby signals representing an unbroken strip of the object are obtained. <IMAGE>
