Abstract

A filler for pillows, cushions, quilts, sleeping bags, ski jackets etc. Comprises a mixture of feathers and fibres having a length of from 1 mm to 40 mm and a diameter of 12 to 32 microns, the fibres comprising from 0.1 to 40% by weight of the mixture. Unbroken feathers, and synthetic fibres such as polyester, polyamide or polyacrylonitrile are preferred.
