Abstract

Known dispensers have the disadvantage of being unhygienic in that dirty glasses are often used to operate the mechanism, also because of various shaped bottles being used, stocks are difficult to obtain accurately and quickly. The dispenser includes a container for the liquid instead of conventional optic dispensers, and bottles. The container holds the liquid to be dispensed. The dispenser is operated by the base of a receptacle coming in contact with a micro-switch and if desired a print out can be provided for stock purposes. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Improvements in optic (Registered Trade Mark) drink dispensers This invention relates to an improved optic drinks dispenser, and has for its object to dispense drinks hygienically and which will control the usage by visual and also a printout display.
To enable the invention to be clearly understood and readily carried into effect a preferred embodiment thereof will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying purely diagrammatic drawings wherein Figure lisa front view of the dispenser.
Referring to the said drawing 'A' is a button for manual dispensing 'B' is a 'fill' warning light 'C' is a visual display of usage 'D' is a suitable switch activated by the placing of a suitable glass or vessel on it to dispense 'E' is to indicate where the said vessel would stand 'F' is the housing for a vessel to stand whilst being filled 'H' is a sliding filler which when shut will also secure the hinged top by lock 'J' 'K' is the main housing which will contain the liquid to be dispensed. The housing may be contained in different shapes e.g., circular, rectangular, square, or triangular, to suit requirements. The housing may also be made from various materials e.g., stainless steel, plastic, glass.
Figure 2 is a top view of the dispenser showing 1, position of vessel to be filled 2, filler.
Figure 3 is a side view 'A' being the top liquid housing 'B' being the vessel housing A,6, is the manual control, A,7, is the filler extended A,8, is the measuring device A,9, is the hinged lid for cleaning.
B,1, is a proposed alternative switch to activate the measuring device. B,2, is a switch incorporated in a housing which may regulate the type of vessel to be used e.g., the measuring device would only operate if a base of a vessel fitted into the housing B,3, B,4, is an integral light and B,5, is a shelf fixing device.
Figure 4 is a proposed lay out.
From the foregoing it will be appreciated that a glass may hygienically be filled by the rim not coming into contact with a barwhich has already been used by used glasses.
That several glasses may be filled at once facilitating service.
That a full control may be exercised by visual or total printout by several of the dispensers being interconnected.
1. A drinks dispenser wherein the conventionai optic dispenser is replaced by a container made of a suitable material capable of dispensing by a switch or manual control.
2. A drinks dispenser as claimed in claim 1 wherein the dispenser holds all the liquid to be dispensed.
3. A drinks dispenser as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the dispenser has a built in visual display to donote the measure served.
4. A drinks dispenser as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the dispenser has a built in manual dispense switch.
5. A drinks dispenser as claimed in any of the preceding claims where the dispenser has a micro switch designed to operate by pressure from a suitable receptacle.
