Abstract

A device for protection of plants (6) or for the promotion of the growth of plants or sprouts, preferably outdoor, and which comprises a practically closed cover for encircling or shielding the plant, is performed as a stiff and preferably green light translucent tube part (1), the one end (2) of which is open and the other end (3) with at least one vent hole (4) is practically closed or closed by a separate or integrated cap (5, 7), whereby the cross sectional shape of the tube part preferably is of a rounded shape. Thereby is achieved that a plant (6) encircled by said device is protected against wind, rain, overheating, and night frost.
