Abstract

207,127. Kleimunt, L. May 25, 1923. Caps; sweat bands.-Relates to caps of the kind having taping arranged starwise to restore the shape after being folded or rolled up, and consists in taping comprising a flexible piping and secured at its ends to a felt strip covered with netting or gauze behind the sweat band. Preferably, the taping 3 has turned-in edges embracing string 4, Fig. 3, and is secured to the cap by zig-zag stitching 5. The ends of the taping are secured to a felt strip 6, Fig. 4, behind the sweat band, which strip is covered by fabric netting or gauze 9.
