Ceiling and like overhead lamps. - In an electric light fitting of the combined indirect and direct lighting type, in which a bowl or its equivalent is adapted to throw upwardly light from a lamp within it and in which direct lighting is obtained from another lamp or lamps below the bowl and more or less enclosed by a glass, fabric or other shades, an open shade g hangs directly from the immediate edge of a single bowl reflector e. According to the Provisional Specification, instead of using a circular shade, lamps and individual shades may be mounted on separate arms.
