Abstract

205,401. Glanville, C. W. Dec. 16, 1922. Measuring-tapes.-Measure.s for use in the game of bowls comprise a rectangular box containing a measuring tape 2 having a pointed end 4 and fitted with a pointer 5 which may be folded down against the side of the box. A spring 10 holds the pointer up or down. A pair of callipers 6 are, pivoted to the top of the box and a bent plate 7 protects the points when they are folded back out of use. A compartment 8 is provided in the box for matches, chalk, &c.
