Abstract

204,098. Gaivõo, P. de Q. June 16, 1922. Jacks.-In pneumatic jacks the plunger 15 rests on a flexible bag 3 having a nipple 5 which passes through the wall of the cylinder 1. The nipple contains a ball valve 10 and is threaded for engagement with an air pump. A screw cap 13 carrying a pin 14 is provided for pushing the ball off its seating in order that air may escape through the aperture 12 and the plunger descend slowly. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 189,057.
